Rules and Regulations

1. All participants of the Nationwide Business Leadership and Management Camp automatically fall into the coverage of the following Rules and Regulations and are to abide to them as a part of their contractual obligation as a participant of this Camp.

2. Participants to the Nationwide Business Leadership and Management Camp are defined as any member of the Camp, whether paying or non-paying, obtaining certificates or not, as far as reasonably viewed as a participant of the Camp as a member, observer, guider, games master, organizer, and the like over the duration of when the Camp is held.

3.  Participants are required to attend and be on time for all instructional and activity sessions.  Attendance will be taken at the start of each session.

4. The Organizer will not be liable for any accidents or mishaps that may occur if participants leave the team/group/program without permission of an Authorized Senior Ranking Officer of the Organizer.

5. Participants are to note and abide by the facilitators’ instructions during the Camp.

6.  Participants are strongly advised to ask for clarification if there are any items that they find difficult to comprehend.

7. Participants are not allowed to leave the main program, itinerary, activities, seminar and whatsoever encompassing items of the Camp throughout its duration. Generally, no exceptions will be allowed apart from a prior written application approved by the highest officer of the Organizer in-charged on this Camp and certain emergencies that occur during the Camp that renders a need for departure from this rule.

8.  The Participant will in first instance contact/inform their facilitator/team leader in-charged in the event of any critical affairs within the Camp.

9.  Participants are strongly advised not to bring along any expensive valuables (e.g. jewelry, expensive handphones, excessive cash) to this Camp. The Participant will bear their own risk of having any such valuables in their possession. None of the Organizer, Property Owners, Institute, Guiders, Participants, and the like will bear any responsibility for a Participant’s valuables. This rule shall take precedence over whatsoever verbal or written promise by any party within the Camp to oversee or in any way at all protect the valuables of any parties of the Camp.

10. No Participant shall involve themselves in any provoked incidents negative in nature e.g. quarrels, fights, gossips, and the like. All parties involved, whether the alleged provocateur or alleged victim of the incident shall all be suspended from the Camp with immediate effect regardless of the point of Camp duration that they are in, pending investigation. Suspension will be executed on the grounds of disciplinary action and the Participant will not be eligible for any future claims of refund, compensation, certificate, reinstatement and the like.

11.  The Organizer reserves in full authority to suspend or cancel the Participation of any Participant on any grounds that it find reasonable, with particular attention directed to the safety and harmony of other participants of the Camp.

12.   Use or possession of alcohol or illegal drugs of any kind is forbidden throughout the duration of this Camp. Disciplinary offence applies to this rule.

Dormitory/Hostel/Hotel

13.  The Dormitory/Hostel/Hotel curfew is 1:00 a.m. All lights shall be out by 2:00 a.m.  Any Participant exiting the dormitory/hostel/hotel after the curfew time will be subject to an offense on disciplinary grounds and shall be put up for suspension or  termination from the Camp.

14.  Participants will be responsible for any damages to their Dormitory/Hostel/Hotel room during their stay in the room.

15.  Room arrangements by the organizer are not negotiable or changeable. Any requests of such nature must be directed to the organizer and approval given before any departure from this rule.

16.   No opposite sex is allowed in the same Dormitory/Hostel/Hotel room.

Games/Activities/Seminars/Content of Camp

17. Safety of all members and facilitators are of utmost importance. Safety of members is to be maintained at all times and will be the first priority of this Camp.

18.  All decisions in relation to the rules, team memberships, accuracy of answers, scoring, discipline, results and the like of this event made by the Games Master is binding on all players.

19. The prizes, refreshments and materials provided by the Games Master and his/her facilitators are given at their discretion without obligation to any parties.

20.  The organiser must be able to maintain contact with you at all times: please make sure your handphones are charged & turned to loud mode.

21.  Please contact the people listed in the information booklet if there are any emergencies.

22.   Please obtain permission or inform your facilitator/team leader whenever you need to temporarily leave the team urgently e.g. an urgent visit to the toilet.

23.    All decisions in relation to the rules, team memberships, accuracy of answers, scoring, discipline, results and the like of this event made by the Games Master is binding on all players.

24.  Participants are advised to always act rationally. We are strongly against heroism in any of the activities.

25.   We value team work to its fullest and we strongly encourage this throughout your participation in the Camp.

General Rules

26.   Participants must always be properly attired for the various programs of the Camp. Different locations of visits stipulate a different form of attire. Please obtain the advice of the Organizer in this.

27.   All Participants will note the rules and regulations of our locations of visit throughout the Camp and observe, abide and respect their policies as well.

28.     The Yelex Institute of Management Rules and Regulations that are relevant to this Camp shall apply in addition to the Participants of the Camp.

29.   No refund or claims on Camp fee or liabilities will be entertained for any Participant who is dismissed for violation of any of the above Rules and Regulations.
