The key themes behind this Business Camp focuses on: the "PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE" of Successful Business Model in Kuala Lumpur. A brief discussion of the themes follows:

Golden Triangle Business Tour (PAST)

Low Yat Plaza, Sungai Wang Plaza, Lot 10, KL Plaza, Starhill Gallery, Times Square

Known as Kuala Lumpur's commercial, shopping and entertainment hub, the Golden Triangle is a fantastic source of Business learning, allowing participants to see with their own eyes a clear diversion between tradition business models of high saturation & low pricing (Low Yat & Sg. WAng); and new radical business models of extremely high-end & specific niche target segments.

The Damansara Five Retailing Giants (PRESENT)

The Curve, IKEA, IKANO Power Center, CineLeisure, Tesco

Damansara is easily categorized as one of the upper middle-class suburbs of Klang Valley. Currently it enjoys a high concentration of modern-day retailing giants where International class business models and management are easily observed throughout their establishment. This makes it the perfect case study for our "Present" business model.

Gem of the Property Market: Sentul West (FUTURE)

Sentul West is truly an ambitious project taken up by the YTL Corp. Based on a 10 year master plan, the YTL Sentul project currently houses a 35-acre Park, located merely a few kilometers from central Kuala Lumpur, with landscaping available only in western countries and in no other location within Malaysia that it is possible for one to see such landscapes. It also houses the KLPAC (Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Center), a hub that currently nurtures countless local talents of Art. More importantly, properties of the current YTL properties located here are going at RM420 p.s.f.! That's easily RM 500,000 for a condominium unit in Sentul! so what is YTL's business model for this "future"? Why is this the "future"?
